I haven't gotten into muzzleload hunting, but I if i want to take a doe in my zone I will have to purchase a ML and ML permit. Can anyone recommend a good, modern, basic, and simple muzzle loader for me to start out with? So far, a friend has recommended TC. I really don't want to muzzle load, but rather just extend my deer options for this coming season without getting anything any more different (than it has to be) than a regular rifle or shotgun, or more complicated than it needs to be. I've seen some pretty modern and simple ones that almost look like a regular bolt action rifle for smokeless cartridges. Any suggestions appreciated.
